| Like every game you have to have rules so that it can be fair to save you time I will divide the rules by their categories - Players Behavior:
1.Be respectful and polite everytime 2.You should not question the Game master 3.Mantai a peaceful campaign
- Plot and the campaign in a Nutshell:
This RPG will be DND like, but it will be heavily based on dices and movements
Due to its popularity, this will take place in an alternate world with the rules of the Digimon adventure universe (Season 1 and Season 2) Due to the nature of the game, It will be party driven and each of you will have a partner Digimon which will be determined by a Roulette
It will be also turn based.
The plot in a nutshell:
You are called to the Digital world by Gennai, who is telling you that the Digitial world is in danger and that it needs your help. with a Digivice and a Digimon partner you go to the Digital world with 7 other players to try to save it from the seven demon lords You start at the File island and with time the setting will change to the server continent
- Character creation:
You are a chosen child that was called by Gennai to try to save the Digital world, however from what?
Every Tamer/Chosen Child will start with this stats:
Level: 1 HP:100 Experience: 0 Alignment: (It is determined by the quantity of your ETY and MCH and those alignment are the 9 traditional ones ) Personality: (Free of choice) Background story: (Optional)
Stats: You have 100 points and you have to divide it in this stats
PHY (Physical Abilities): 10/100 This one check your Physical fitness and your strength,the higher it is the faster you can move swim jump or lift. It also makes you Immune to (if you want to gain the crest of courage or Miracles this is a good trait you should focus on)Each time you raise PHY, MTL goes down
WLL (Will): 10/100 This one help to make you immune to Persuasion ,it also makes you do things more easily and if its high enough it makes easier for your Digimon to endure battles (if you want to gain the crest of Hope or Light this is a good trait you should focus on)
SOC (Socialite): 10/100 This one helps you bond with people easily and befriend Digimon more easily and if its high enough you may develope love or family bonds( if you aim for the Love or Friendship crest you should focus on this trait )
MTL (Mental Ability): 10/100 This one check your cleverness, your ability to solve problems quickly with thinking and it allow you on battles to attack faster, It also helps to persuade opponents or certain people/Digimon and make you gain their trust in you (if you want to gain the crest of Knowledge or Reliability this is a good trait you should focus on)Each time you raise MTL, PHYgoes down
ETY (Empathy and Kindness): 10/100 This one check your ability to understand and intereact with others,(if you want to gain the crest of Kindess or Purity this is a good trait you should aim for) Each time you raise ETY , MCH goes down
MCH (Mischievousness): 10/100 This one check your ability to manipulate things on your favor, It help you make dirty and dishonest moves,while it doesnt help you have a crest it helps you to make your digimon dark digivolve more easily.Each time you raise MCH ETY, goes down
Special Attributes: (This ones raise or lower depending on your actions on the story)
Courage:0 Friendship:0 Love:0 Knowledge:0 Purity:0 Reliability:0 Hope:0 Light:0 Kindness:0
- Your Digimon Partne:
It will be determined by the roulette and will be the one that will assist you with everything related to battles or transport and the one that will help you gain your goal
Every digimon regardless of who it is will start like this:
Stats:
level: 1 Exp: 0 (this can only be gained with fights)
Family:(Depends of the Digimon) Type: (Depends of the Digimon, can be Vaccine,Data or Virus ) Special attack:(Depends of the Digimon)
HP:100/100 Health status: OK Attack: 10 Special Attack: 10 Defense: 10 Speed: 10
Health status: Ok: the digimon is healthy Poisoned: The digimon is poisoned and will lose 1/16 of its health Paralyzed: The digimon is paralyzed and must roll a dice of 1d20 if it has 10 or more the digimon can attack Freeze:The digimon can't attack for 5 turns Burn: The digimon will lose 1/32 of its health on each turn Cursed: The digimon will be cursed and will have an stats of the caster's choice (it may or may not be one of the listed ones here.)
- Combat system:
The main point of the RPG and its focus.
there are 5 commands you can use in a fight:
Attack Special Attack Use an item Evolve Run away
Attack: You give a normal tackle to the opponent Special Attack: You use one of your special attacks (depends of the Digimon)You can only use it 5 times for fight. Defend: You can defend yourself or one ally of damage. ( See the damage part and invert the roles of the one that attacks and the ones that recieve the attack) Use an item : Use an item so that you can either heal or help your partner in a fight Evolve:If the level and requirements of your partner is high enough you can Digivolve. Run away: You role a dice of 1d20, if you suceed you escape.
Attack and Damage The attack you do is usually the same damage you do. however some circumstances can change that, like elemental attacks and level
Elemental attacks and its matches: Fire beats Ice Ice beats Water Water beats Fire
Earth beats Thunder Thunder beats Steel Steel beats Wood Wood beats Wind Wind beats Earth
Light beats Dark Dark beats Light
Levels: (In-training I,In-training II,Child,Champion,Ultra,Mega)
Damage: if you attack someone that has the same level You damage your opponent normally if you attack someone that is one level lower than you, your attack increase by double if you attack someone that is one level higher than you, your attack decrease by half if you attack someone that is two levels lower than you, your attack kills with certainty your opponent. if you attack someone that is two levels higher your damage is reduced to 0.
Success or Fail: Each time you attack you have to roll a dice, (Under construction) Attacks: (depend of each Digimon)
- Turns:
The fastest character will always attack first unless the opponent is two levels higher.
- Experience:
The experience you gain through each battle, can be determined by this simple formula:
Level of your Digimon x 2 + Level of training of your opponent x 10 - level of training of your Digimon x 10
example: a Level 1 in-training digimon vs a Level 1 in-training digimon.
1 x 2 = 2 + 1 = 3 x 10 = 30 - 10 = 20 exp points.
Level of Training: (In-training I = 0 In-training II = 1 Child = 2 Champion = 3 Perfect = 4 Mega = 5 Supermega = 6 )
Experience bar = The highest level you can reach is 50 So you need to gain the following experience to increase to each level:
To level 2 You will need 10 exp points To level 3 you will need 20 exp points To level 4 you will need 30 exp points To level 5 you will need 40 exp points
from level 6 to 11 you will need 60 points but with each level you will need 20 points more and from 12 onwards the experience points you need will be doubled
example: You need 140 points to go to level 13 You need 280 points to go to level 14
- Digievolution:
Each Digimon start at the. training level of In-training II
after that you will reach the Child level at level 2
and after that you will reach the Champion level at 11
and after that you will reach the Perfect level at 21
and after that you will reach the Mega level at 31
and if your digimon can digivolve further it will reach Super mega at level 41
Revert will be optional in the game, if your Digimon Digivolves, it will stay on the same level unless you want to revert it.
Why would you want to revert your Digimon? Some digimon evolve into more than 1 digimon, so its a good choice if you want to try different branches.
There is no Digievolution line set however the game master will tell you which ones are available judging by your character development.
